Abstract

This paper provides an idea of analysing a metamaterial SRR (Split Ring Resonator) in different waveguide setups for achieving better accuracy. A Square shaped waveguide setup is used with two MATER-SLAVE boundaries and 2 FLOQUET ports. In addition, the same SRR is analysed using hexagonal shaped waveguide setup with 3 MASTER-SLAVE boundaries and 2 FLOQUET ports. Comparative analysis has been done with these two different boundary settings. Scattering coefficients of the metamaterial SRR have been analysed with HFSS simulation software. This paper will serve as a perfect and comprehensive guidance to the researchers in the investigation of SRR.
