Abstract

In this paper, determination of optimal Proportional-Integral (PI) controller values for a Single-Ended Primary-Inductor converter SEPIC is taken place using Particle Swarm Optimization. The optimization has good computational efficiency and convergence characteristics. The SEPIC converter comprises of buck and boost operation depending on the duty cycle.
