Research Output of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology during 1999–2018: A Bibliometric Study

Abstract

The present study explores bibliometric analysis of the research output of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology during 1999-2018. The data was extracted from SCOPUS database and produced a total of 2072 publications that were recognized to authors affiliated to GJUST 11.31 %) was the most favored subject category among authors. GJUS&T has the maximum number of collaborative scientific papers (137) with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The most preferred journal for publication was AIP conference proceedings. Ashish Agarwal from Applied Physics department was identified as the most productive author with 155 publications, whereas V.K Garg from the department of Environmental Science & Engineering had the highest h-index (41) and average citation per paper (46.17) as well.
