Glamping is an abbreviation for ‘glamorous camping’, which is an emerging concept to appreciate the functionalities of camping while reducing its unpleasant aspects. The purpose of this research is to provide a bibliometric analysis of glamping. Bibliometric analysis revealed that the publication trend in the field has not swelled significantly and identified the leading authors, promising organizations, and research themes in the area. Portugal and the United States produce the most study on glamorous camping. The analysis identified four themes through keyword co-occurrence analysis. This review offers essential and meaningful information to the industry about the glamping sector. This research unveiled various market segments (e.g., couples, family-oriented tourists, and solo travelers) exhibit specific characteristics of the glamping experience.
