The proposed topology achieves good impedance matching, return loss (greater than −10dB), radiation patterns and consistent gain at all two operating bands. The proposed antenna has VSWR < 2 except the 5.11–9.79 GHz band. Abstract

In this research a novel planar monopole antenna for dual band applications is proposed. The antenna topology operates at two operating frequencies at 4.1 and 11.3 GHz which covers C and Ku bands.
