The antenna which is designed by microstrip technology aims to work at the center frequency of 4 GHz, whereas the magnetic material loaded into the DGS is polycrystalline Yttrium Iron Garnet (YIG). The radiation characteristics of the antenna are investigated under the incorporation of DGS-loaded magnetic material without an external magnetic bias. The investigation results are then compared with radiation characteristics of the conventional microstrip antenna.
