Abstract

In this paper several novel wideband omnidirectional printed dipole antenna units whose operating frequency covers 1.92GHz to 2.17GHz(the WCDMA band and the LTE-FDD band 1) based on a basic one(Antenna I) are proposed. Through meandering and slotting on the micro-strip arms, the size of units get less. The experimental results which agree well with the simulation results show that the novel units have good performance on return loss.
