A compact iris coupled fourth order band pass filter having a flat pass band from 22.2GHz to 24.76GHz is designed using Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate. The filter has a maximum insertion loss of 0.8dB and a maximum return loss of 17.6dB in the pass band of operation. In this paper Substrate Integrated Waveguide based band pass filter is developed in K band for satellite communication applications.
