Abstract

Contemporary language teaching for educational paths in binational degrees in Engineering is subject to some challenges. In particular the organisation and the graduality of linguistic teaching, according to the traditional subdivision in language for basic communication and language for academic and professional communication, is seen as a limit for the courses. In this essay some language education strategies are introduced to allow Italian learners to communicate proficiently in university and professional contexts in foreign countries.
