Pilot study was conducted on 50 respondents to assess the internal consistency using Cronbach’s alpha value of finalized NPQ instrument. 71 items are yielded during developmental stage of instrument to measure four dimensions of nurses’ performance. Assessment of content validity based on lay and research expert judgement resulting in elimination of 27 items (38%). Computed modified Kappa statistic further supplemented that the remaining 44 items as ‘excellent’.
