Abstract

Serious aging society is very severe problem in the world. We aim at developing a safety system to support the aged people. Toilet danger detection system (TDDS) is a part of the safety system, which detects the danger and announces the information to outside people. Toilet is a small place for special needs. If there is a dangerous zone in the toilet, it will be more dangerous for aged people than young people. Toilet danger detection system presented in this paper uses a camera to take the toilet photos and uses image processing technique to detect the dangers for aged people.
