Abstract
Kampillaka (Mallotus philippinensis Muell. Arg.), a promising drug used since 1000 B.C. as anthelmintic, in dermal problems and infectious wounds is commonly found adulterated in the crude drug market. An attempt was made to authenticate the crude drug samples collected from different places of India by subjecting them to HPLC analysis with particular reference to phenolic acids.
