Abstract

A plane-polar multipole approach has been used to rigorously solve the scattering and diffraction of a TM-polarized uniform complex-source beam (UCSB) by a perfectly conducting finite wedge. The numerical results include a comparison between the scattered far-fields for an incident plane wave and an incident UCSB for different values of the corresponding focus length.
