Abstract
A theoretical analysis of upconverters, and an experimental waveguide-type upconverter and downconverter at 120GHz are described. An upconverter with an output power of 2.5 dBm and a downconverter with a conversion loss of 9.2/spl plusmn/0.7 dB and an RF bandwidth of 35 GHz were obtained.
