By measuring the multi point thickness of the production line, the printing and coating thickness of the single plate and the whole plane is obtained by mathematical fitting. The sensor of measuring system is designed, the working principle is analyzed, the nonlinear error of printing and coating thickness of iron sheet with different thickness is determined experimentally, and the non-linear correction is made by using EPROM. The measurement precision is further improved by temperature compensation of the sensing detection system. Finally, the measurement results are managed and processed by the MCU and the upper computer to realize information sharing. This method is non-contact, and can not be affected by the measured objects and adverse environment to sensors. Abstract

In this paper, the printing and coating thickness measurement system of iron sheet printing based on eddy current sensor is introduced. By measuring the multi point thickness of the production line, the printing and coating thickness of the single plate and the whole plane is obtained by mathematical fitting. The sensor of measuring system is designed, the working principle is analyzed, the nonlinear error of printing and coating thickness of iron sheet with different thickness is determined experimentally, and the non-linear correction is made by using EPROM.
