Abstract

In this paper, we discuss the interactions between lecturers and students. First, we detect their behaviors by extracting the face regions of lecturers and students from moving images. Thereafter, we model the interaction between the lecturers' writing and explanation behaviors and the students' note taking and listening behaviors by using multilayered neural networks. We discuss the above interactions based on the internal representations of multilayered neural networks.
