Aiming at solving the problem, an effective method of order-coil matching is to be proposed. This paper established a nonlinear integer programming model for the maximum order fulfillment rate or the maximum utilization of the coil. According to the characters of the model, an adaptive genetic algorithm based on the heuristic repair strategy was proposed. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm were verified based on actual production data. This study will improve the timely delivery capability of enterprise; be helpful to address the liquidity shortage, occupiers and other issues which are caused by the large number of unallocated coils. Abstract

To use the unallocated coils effectively is of great importance in ERW steel tubing enterprises. Aiming at solving the problem, an effective method of order-coil matching is to be proposed.
