With the use of EPR spectroscopy and spectrophotometry, it was shown that dinitrosyl iron complexes are able to inhibit lipid peroxidation in model systems with tert-butyl hydroperoxide and cytochrome C, as well as in experiments with low-density lipoproteins during their oxidation with copper ions. Abstract

The paper considers the effect of dinitrosyl iron complexes (DNIC) on the processes of free radical lipid peroxidation, which make a significant contribution to the development of many pathological conditions.
