Abstract
A method based on fuzzy inference system (FIS) is presented for the synthesis of electrically thin and thick rectangular micro strip antennas (MSAs). FIS construct an input-output mapping based on both human knowledge (in the form of fuzzy if-then rules) and stipulated input output data pairs. The synthesis results of FIS are in very good agreement with the experimental results as compared to the results of previous analytical methods available in the many literatures.
