Also, Imam Al- Tabarani has passed comments which are regarded as \"Elal al-Hadith\" that when a narrator individually narrated the hadith from his teacher so, it is considered weak in the chain of transmission of hadith. Likewise a unique narration of an unreliable narrator is rejected among the scholars of hadith. It is called in hadith sciences ‘the appendage’ (Mutaba'a). A critical study of five hundred hadiths of the book of Al- Tabarani shows that many comments of Al- Tabarani are self-contradictory and hence dismissed.
