Abstract

In order to balance the traffic efficiency of non-priority phase, to enhance the overall level of service (LOS) of the intersection, this paper puts forward a bus priority strategy considering the non-priority signal phase compensation. Firstly, based on the LOS constraint, a bus priority strategy with no signal compensation for non-bus priority and a bus priority strategy with signal compensation are established. Then, a one-time compensation strategy and staged compensation strategy are proposed for the bus priority strategy with signal compensation.
