Abstract

The basic structure of the Gorshkov mechanism is described. The distinctive features of this mechanism in comparison with the crank mechanism are considered. The devices that can be retrofitted using the Gorshkov mechanism and the areas where it can be applied are shown: small shipbuilding, agricultural machinery, aircraft, instrumentation, internal combustion engine and pumps for oil wells.
