Therefore, their integration can complement the shortcomings of each of these technologies and increases the network performance. In this work, while presenting theoretical concepts of LiFi and hybrid WiFi/LiFi networks, issues such as network structure, cell deployment, modulation techniques, multiple access schemes, and criteria for measuring network performance are discussed. Abstract

Today, researchers and manufacturers consider light fidelity (LiFi) technology as an essential solution for fast data transfer in networks. In addition, one of the essential solutions to meet the traffic restriction challenge caused by the growing demand of Internet users is the integration of various communication technologies.
