The proposed cascaded switched diode multilevel inverter (CSDMLI) scheme connected to two identical resistive loads. The operation of the proposed MLI analyzed in both single and multiple load conditions and reduction in harmonic content of up to 12.76 per cent obtained while feeding multiple loads compared to the existing control strategy, which yields a harmonic distortion of 16.82%. Simple pulse-width modulation scheme used for switching between the loads. Abstract
