An AC module employed to harness the solar energy comprises a PV module with a grid-coupled inverter. Among different arrangements of AC module, transformerless single stage arrangement is highly efficient. ZSI being one of such arrangements have seen a fast evolution since its first release in 2003, the evolution includes its different topologies as well as its control and modulation schemes to enhance its performance in different perspectives.
