A case study is also included for comparison of efficiency of old motor with energy efficient motor. Abstract

TextSle industries use energy both in the utilities and process. Electrical energy is also used in these areas. Energy audit provides the scope of energy savings in different utilities and process of textile industries. Electric motors contribute to more than 70% of the total electrical load.
