La olvidada obra modernista de los Martínez Sierra: Granada. Guía emocional

Abstract

This article presents a study about Granada. Guia emocional (1991), modernist literary work created by the Martinez Sierra marriage. This book had been overlooked from the literary criticism of the twentieth century even when it holds a significant input to the Spanish literature. This literary work breaks the horizon of expectations from the readers, as it can’t be regarded solely as a travel guide to use because it must be perceived as a modernist book written in poetic prose that describes the Andalusian city and captures the Spanish society of the early twentieth century through social criticism.
