As for ways in developing students’ civic literacy in Civics education subjects is by applying critical multi-literacy learning. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness in applying multi-literacy learning models in developing students’ civic literacy competencies. This study was designed through quantitative research methods applying experimental research designs. The technical data collection was carried out through implementing the test, the data were then examined through the t test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in applying multi-literacy learning to students’ civic literacy abilities.
