Abstract
We propose a power-efficient architecture for an integrated optical equalizer for high-speed PAM-4 data center interconnects. The presented equalizer mitigates the intersymbol interference resulting from the bandwidth limitation of electronic and electro-optic components along with the fiber non-idealities in a PAM-4 short-reach optical link.
