Abstract

The article deals with the possibility of Saccharomyces cerevisiae proliferation influence using low-frequency electromagnetic field. Results and observations presented herein detail the frequency settings, based on ion parametric resonance model, needed to target specific ions, which evoke a reaction of irradiated biological samples. This approach leads to predictable modulation of cell cultures behavior, which could be applicable in various areas, such as medicine, or food industry.
