Abstract

Drawing on the conceptual framework of “transdisciplinary intra-action,” this panel discusses the integration of a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing and a Master of Arts in Rhetoric & Composition. The panelists make a case for how such programmatic integration can benefit from a holistic approach and a flexible “integrative infrastructure” that includes intentionally reimagined and connected a) program missions, values, and learning outcomes; b) curricula and pedagogy, and; c) student advising and mentoring, and faculty support.
