Network security architecture for intelligent networks

Abstract

This paper focuses on a network security architecture and the requirements of such an architecture. These requirements are necessary to attain a level of security that meaningfully protects its operators, end users, and itself, while maintaining a reasonable level of security-transparency. Those requirements are: registration; identification and authentication; data integrity and confidentiality; firewalls and parental control; and enabling e-commerce.
