To obtain better matching impedance, a stand-alone core ring is placed inside the loop. The proposed design is made of polypropylene sheet and adhesive copper film. The proposed design is portable and easy to be fabricated. Abstract

In this paper, a dual-band beam-steering loop antenna based on the kirigami technique is presented. The proposed design combines two concentrical loop antennas working at 1.35 GHz and 3.45 GHz. With the rotation of the inner loop antenna, the radiation pattern can be steered simultaneously at the frequency of 3.45 GHz.
