We scrutinized implementation of TORA and found the problem early termination of nodes due to limitation of battery power. The most significant point was that no energy efficient route is applied to TORA for proper utilization of energy in mobile Ad-hoc network. We implemented a simple approach known as IPS (Intelligent Power Saver) in TORA in order to reduce consumption of energy so that lifetime of MANET can be enhanced. Abstract
The study figures out our participation with the execution along with formation of MANET protocol (TORA) with Intelligent Power Saver mechanism in order to overcome major challenge in wireless Ad-hoc network i.e. energy. We scrutinized implementation of TORA and found the problem early termination of nodes due to limitation of battery power.
