Abstract

When driving a car on public roads, the tasks of increasing the comfort and safety of movement of the driver and passengers. During the contact interaction of two bodies, self-oscillatory processes may occur. The origin of these processes in the zone of interaction of an elastic tire with a solid support base can lead to a loss of traction of the wheel with the road. The study solves the issue of creating a methodology for analyzing the occurrence of nonlinear self-oscillatory processes in nodes and systems of a trunk road train when it moves along a support base. The aim of the study is to determine the rolling modes of the wheel, under which self-oscillating processes will occur in the zone of interaction of an elastic tire with a solid support base. As a result of the study, the conditions for the occurrence of self-oscillating processes and their effect on other systems of the main road train were obtained. Keywords: nonlinear resonance, self-oscillating processes, wheel rolling mode, mathematical model, road train
