Abstract
This paper proposes a simple and cost efficient spv fed bldc motor fed drive. A zeta converter is used to extract the maximum power from the spv. Many new dc-dc coversion topologies are created every year. Zeta converter is such a new topology which provide a regulated output voltage from an varying input voltage. Pi controller is used to control the zeta converter for obtaining desired output voltage. Focv type of mppt is used for extracting maximum power from the spv. Vsi is used to convert the dc voltage obtained from zeta converter and feed the bldc motor. The speed is controlled through a variable dc connect voltage of VSI. The proposed control system wipes out use of current sensors and adjusts a crucial recurrence exchanging of the voltage source inverter (VSI), in this manner staying away from the power misfortunes due to high recurrence exchanging. No extra control or hardware is utilized for speed control of the bldc engine. The simulation of the proposed system is exhibited through results using matlab/simulink in the paper.
