Abstract

A transparent absorber structure made of resistive film and glass is presented in this paper. The structure has the effect of ultra-wideband, polarization-independent, and high absorption during microwave band. According to the simulation, the structure has absorbance more than 75% in the region of 4.3~21.5GHz band under the incidence of linear polarized wave. The structure not only protects resistive film from the outside, but also makes it easier to integrate with laminated glass. Owe to its simple structure and moderate thickness, it will have more applications in the field of transparent stealth.
