Abstract
In the 3GPP specification, a 5G private network plan is proposed, which is deployed for use in specific areas and enterprise application service areas. In order to provide resilient 5G private networks, 3GPP proposes to deploy network slices using NFV MANO architecture to meet the demand for various network service types. However, most enterprises do not yet have the capability to deploy and operate 5G private networks. Hence, the collaboration between mobile network operator's cloud and enterprise's edge to build a 5G private network to provide traffic at the edge will improve the quality of service of the enterprise application services. This study uses an NFV MANO architecture to deploy network slices of 5G Core Networks for cloud-edge collaboration and to design a transport network function for cross-network communication to design a 5G private network. The 5G Core Networks uses the UPF ULCL architecture to combine with the proposed NFV MANO platform to achieve 5G private cloud-edge network slicing collaboration and traffic diversion.
