In addition, the chapter also evaluates key VoLTE features such as robust overhead compression (RoHC), transmission time interval (TTI) bundling, and semi‐persistent scheduling (SPS). The chapter then provides VoLTE performance assessment based on the network KPIs. Abstract

This chapter summarizes Voice over LTE (VoLTE) principles, and outlines the main VoLTE features along with deployment best practices.
