Abstract

The aim of the present study is to determine the mental images (metaphors) of the preschool teachers on the notion of parents by using the metaphor technique. The study group consists of 112 preschool teachers that work at the preschools and nursery classes in Karsiyaka, Menemen, Cigle and Bornova in Izmir in the 2013-2014 academic year.
