Abstract

A coplanar linear polarized dual-band antenna with very low profile is proposed in this paper. The evolution of the dipole antenna based on the slotted patch is introduced. The effects of the patch on the central dipole are analyzed in detail. A low profile single polarized dual-band coplanar antenna with wide impedance bandwidths of 21.12% and 61.43% is realized and fabricated.
