Abstract

Several aspects related to ADSS development such as present status, issues like interrupted beam supply, beam window or windowless system for Pb-Bi eutectic as target coolant, neutron activation and measurement of cross sections that are not available from any other source and development of radiation resistant materials are discussed in a comprehensive way. The text may help in identification of future studies related to the ADSS technology. Some of the results presented here may become basis of our future collaborative programs.
