Privação de escolaridade: a situação do jovem em conflito com a lei

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the process of schooling in the socioeducation occurs, that is, how the right to formal school education is provided for in legislation and how it comes to fruition in the period in which the teenager or young person who committed an infraction is under the tutelage of the State. Through documentary research, we analyzed the official reports that show the schooling or non-schooling of these young people in the period of compliance of the measure. We have as a theoretical-methodological reference historical-dialectical materialism. Our conclusive notes indicate that although Brazil has a set of norms and laws for the care of the young person who fulfills socio-educational measures, this current model of resocialization has little effectiveness for the reinsertion of the young person after the period of hospitalization of the fulfillment of socio-educational measure.
