Hacı Bedir Ağa’nın Millî Mücadeledeki Rolü ve Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi’ndeki Faaliyetleri

Abstract

The aim of this study is to reveal the role of Haci Bedir Aga in the  National Struggle and his activities in the GNAT. Haci Bedir Aga, who  had large lands and a large tribe in the Adiyaman region, supported  the National Struggle and Mustafa Kemal Pasha. Haci Bedir Aga, who  stopped Ali Galip and his friends who tried to prevent Sivas Congress,  made a great contribution to Antep and Urfa defense. Haci Bedir Aga,  who personally participated in these struggles, was injured in Antep  defense. Haci Bedir Aga, who received the Medal of Independence  for his achievements, served as a deputy for three consecutive terms.  He served as deputy of Malatya in the first and second periods of the  Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the third period of Parliament, he  was the representative of Kars. In 1927, Haci Bedir Aga, who supported  Mustafa Kemal Pasha in the parliamentary work, died in Tarsus.
