Abstract
Currently, non-destructive testing methods, X-ray computed tomography method in particular, are widely used to diagnose critical products in all major industries (nuclear industry, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, energy, aerospace, oil and gas). An important step in assessing the quality of a product material is the X-ray tomographic scanning results analysis by an operator via specialized software. This paper presents an overview of existing solutions for the tomographic research results analyzing, identifies the main drawbacks and problems of modern methods of various products serviceability assessment.
