Abstract

The paper considers possibility of energy consumption decrease by using a 3-wire power line in the power supply system of a trolleybus. Certainly, it is necessary further to transit from extensive way of improvement and development of the transport infrastructure of megapolises by simple increase of the vehicles number to intensive one. Intensive way of transport development means replacement of existing types of city electrically propelled vehicles by more fitted ones and equipped by across-the-line systems to control high power driving motors.
