Abstract

Global trend of Smart Grid development has raised the awareness on Research, Development, and Engineering in related areas, in Thailand, so that all concerned parties will be able to apply the technology, efficiently and wisely, to enhancing performance in all parts of our future electrical power grid, and to achieving the goal of renewable energy generation promotion without compromising the security and reliability of the main grid. Smart Grid Roadmap for Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has been prepared to be the guidelines for the whole organization embarking on this future development in lines with the Smart Grid Development Plan and the Energy Master Plan of Thailand, concurrently.
