In this paper, we have reviewed the merits and demerits of the available energy-efficient scheduling techniques for cloud environments which could be applied for IoT applications. Abstract

Energy-aware scheduling algorithms are emerging as important components in economic-conscious heterogeneous computing systems such as IoT-enabled edge, fog, or cloud environments.
