A qualitative approach was used to document and analyze perceptions of secondary school students about their principal in context of Punjab culture. A descriptive method was used to carry out study. An interview protocol was developed to use for the interview of students. Interviewees were both male and female students of secondary schools. Fifty-five interviews with secondary school students, five private school located in Lahore were conducted to capture their perception exactly about principal and generally about schooling. These general perceptions of students about schooling were considered relevant with specific perceptions about principals. Abstract

The study focuses on perception of student specifically about their principal. How the students perceive their principal’s behavior from their own capacity in school is the main objective of this study. A qualitative approach was used to document and analyze perceptions of secondary school students about their principal in context of Punjab culture. A descriptive method was used to carry out study.
