Abstract

Some eye diseases require round-the-clock intraocular pressure (IOP) monitoring, for example, glaucoma. In this paper, we propose sensor prototypes with an LC resonance structure for wireless passive IOP monitoring. The LC sensor will be expected to be combined with contact lenses, so the sensor shape is designed as a circular ring structure. The performance of two LC sensor prototypes made using a flexible printed circuit board was simulated and measured.
